In “Olivares de Barahonda” the quality of the olive oil obtained is the most important. Our production process is focused exclusively on the excellence of the final product.
On the farming estate “Barahonda Casa de Torregrosa”, we cultivate over 80 hectares of olive trees of varieties cornicabra, arbequina, cuquillo y picual, supervising at all times the good condition of the tree and the quality of the fruit. The elaboration and packaging of the AOVE is done on the property, in own mill equipped with the latest technology, which allows to control the production process of extra virgin olive oil, to obtain optimum quality.

“Olivares de Barahonda” was born as a result of the agricultural tradition inherited by the Torregrosa family, with his passion for extra virgin olive oil, together with their desire to make their own harvest of olives an excellent product that would indeed surprise the consumer.

All our products are made in our own mill located a few meters from the olive grove.
the Extra Virgin Olive Oil “Olivares de Barahonda” is obtained through one first and only cold temperature extraction through mechanical processes (without additives) to preserve all its organoleptic properties (smell, taste, color and texture). Once the oil-juice is extracted from the olives, the surplus paste is discarded entirely, so it is not possible to re-pass them through all the machinery for a second oil extraction.
With an acidity lower than 0,2 and an intense flavor and fruity aroma, the Extra Virgin Olive Oil “Olivares de Barahonda” is presented as a superior quality product.

Monovarietal monastrell, 2013
Wine made with grapes of the Monastrell variety , Cultivated on our property, from strains with more than 30 years, and cared for all year round. It has a aging of 12 months in barrels of French oak and American oak, and subjected to the manolactic fermentation, which eliminates any remaining acidity that may remain in the wine.
